Your agreement with Drishya
These Terms of Service apply when you visit drishya.io, create an account, or use any Drishya feature. By doing so, you agree to these terms and to the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If local law requires a higher minimum age, you must meet that requirement. If you use Drishya for an organisation, you confirm that you have authority to accept these terms for it.
Accounts and access
Provide accurate account details, keep access to your email address secure, and do not share your sign-in links. You are responsible for activity carried out through your account.
Do not impersonate another person, create accounts to evade moderation or blocks, collect account information without permission, or interfere with the service. We may restrict, suspend, or close an account when needed to protect people, the platform, or the law.
Community standards
Drishya is built for generous conversation about film and television. Reviews, lists, comments, profiles, essays, and messages must not include harassment, hateful conduct, threats, scams, spam, unlawful material, or content that infringes another person’s rights.
- Mark plot details and endings as spoilers when the feature is available.
- Only post material you created or have permission to share.
- Respect blocks, privacy settings, and moderation decisions.
- Do not use Drishya to advertise without permission or manipulate ratings, follows, or engagement.
We may remove content or limit access when it breaches these terms, harms the community, or creates a legal or security risk.
Your writing and profile
You keep ownership of the original content you post. You give Drishya a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, format, display, and distribute that content only as needed to operate, improve, and promote the service and the content sharing choices you make.
Public content can be seen, shared, and discussed by other people. Private content is handled according to the visibility controls in your settings. Removing a post or deleting your account ends this licence for future use, except where content has already been shared by others, kept in routine backups, or must be retained for legal, safety, or record-keeping reasons.
Creator purchases and tips
Drishya may offer one-time purchases to unlock creator essays and optional tips for creators. The price and currency are shown before you complete checkout. Payments are processed by Stripe, and Drishya does not store full payment card details.
Unlocked content is for your personal use. Do not copy, resell, redistribute, or make it available outside Drishya without the creator’s permission. Unless required by law or otherwise stated at checkout, completed digital-content purchases and voluntary tips are final.
Catalog and availability
Title details, images, release dates, credits, and availability information are supplied by third-party sources and may be incomplete, delayed, or inaccurate. Availability can differ by region and change without notice. Check the relevant provider before making a viewing or purchase decision.
Service changes and limits
We may change, pause, or retire features to maintain, secure, or improve Drishya. We will try to give reasonable notice when a material change affects your use of the service.
Drishya is provided on an as-available basis. To the extent permitted by law, we do not guarantee that every feature, title record, or external service will always be available or error-free. Nothing in these terms excludes rights that cannot legally be excluded.

For questions about these terms, email hello@drishya.io. If we update these terms, we will post the new effective date here. Continuing to use Drishya after an update means you accept the revised terms.
